#3 - Call Him Mr. Tobin: Fighting FL Legislation w/ Toby Tobin

5th grade math & special-ed teacher Toby Tobin was loved by his students and community, but was forced to leave it all behind.  After anti-LGBTQ+ legislation passed, the school district gave Mr. Tobin the ultimatum: go by Mrs. Tobin or lose his job.

 

We had the pleasure to sit down with Mr. Tobin to discuss his perspective, the importance of diversity and acceptance in education, maintaining positivity, and being a force of light for his community.
